Oh... the idle wooden mind

Disclaimer: Do to the absence of my wife the below post may be riddled with bad grammar and incomplete sentences and overall confusion.

It's been awhile and oh do i have a story to tell. I've been a little self absorbed lately. The prettiest thing I've ever seen and my three offspring have left town. That within it's self is something to write about...you know that verse in the Bible where it talks about man not being meant to be alone, well this is the man he was talking about, well actually it was Adam but aren't we supposed to liken the scriptures to our lives? I can hardly find my pants let alone get them to the laundry basket...then do laundry...(shudder). That is also another story to be told some other time. This blog is about pan...not me but i have to tell this part for you to understand the other. Also, at this same time I had a very important test at work that would pretty much determine my fate, once again another story for another time. And again i also had a very big training to prepare, over something i new very little about...again... i think that you get the picture. So Ive been a little self absorbed. Once it was all over with I realized that i hadn't posted anything so I looked for Pan. Well...if you remember a couple of blogs back i told you to never leave a little-wood-man alone in a car for hours. So I guess i don't need to tell you to never leave a little-wood-man to his own devices for a week and a half. He picked up a few unsavory friends and I caught trying to hitchhike with a penguin...I know i was thinking the same thing...what does a penguin know about hitchhiking.

So figured that i needed to spend some quality time Pan. You get more with flies with honey than with vinegar. So Pan and have been spending more of the above mentioned time together. I think it's going well. He seems to enjoy the Baseball game we went to. Although he got a little chilly and eventually fell asleep. It's a learning process. It think we're getting through the storming phase pretty well. We've had some other adventure but those will be a later post.

You know, you should introduce Pan to another one of your past fascinations... Le Parkour. I'd bet he'd love that. Or Brazilian Capawara, that'd be fun too.... especially with a hacky sack...

Ah, the memories...

lol... that doesn't surprise me. Also, I think I used the wrong spelling for capoeira, although technically, I think it has a few different spellings.

Yeah, pan is back! You've been missed! Pan you need to be careful about hanging out with Penguins, they can definitely get you into trouble---haven't you seen the movie Madagascar! Although, my girls are reminding me of the good penguins in Happy Feet and then Mike say's you need to watch out more for the rabbit (always calling people slow pokes, causing them others to run to keep up(Tortoise and the Hare), always threatening to run away (Runaway Bunny), going down holes with little girls (Alice in Wonderland), going into other peoples gardens & stripping off his clothes (Peter Rabbit). Mike says you definitely need to watch out more for the rabbits. So, here is my advice check out the section on friends in the FSOY pamphlet and let your conscience be your guide :}
oh, and Kit, the part you said about Liberty and the boys was very sweet. Have you thought about asking Pan to do the laundry while you're away? Just a thought.

OK kit, my coment doesn't have nothing to do with pan , well I think it does.. because pan means bread in spanish so I think now you know where I'm going with this.... I'm getting close to make the bread!!! and guess what? I'm not gonna be able to EAT IT!!! b/c this new diet!!! this is like telling a child here is the cake for you but don't touch it or eat it!! so I 'm just gonna have to be happy smelling or liking a piece!!! :(

Thank you for the laugh-out-loud moment. :)
I have to agree with Andrea...ask Pan to do some laundry! You gotta think that he needs to be doing something for his keep! Also, I thought it was sweet that Pan is comfortable enough with you to fall asleep around you. :)

I have to hand it to Pan. If I were to suddenly mix with the wrong crowd, I'd wish that a penguin was one of them. That's a pretty impressive thing when you can say he's mixing with a good penguin, gone bad...*duh duh dum!*
